QUALITY TECHNICIAN

Job Summary:
To compile and administer control plans, Test plans for new products, compile ISIR’s / PPAP’s / PSW’s / PIS’s documentation. Control the calibration system. Liaising with service providers and test laboratories.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile and administer control plans for projects / products
  • Issue ISIR’s / PPAP’s / PSW’s / PIS’s / MQC’s / SDS’s
  • Issue quality control documentation
  • issue test reports on existing products
  • Maintain master samples
  • Determine testing costs and perform test for new products
  • Capability studies
  • Dimensional layouts
  • Measurement studies
  • Calibration register update and follow-up
  • Update customer portals

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric with mathematics
  • Diploma in Production Management will be advantageous.
  • Previous experience within the automotive industry in quality
  • Computer literacy in MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Document and reporting skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound decision making skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work independently.
